Police and emergency services are called to Bromsten after an alarm is raised about a fire in a multi-family house. At 15.30, the emergency services report that the fire has been extinguished.

The fire is believed to have started in connection with cooking, and residents in the affected apartment manage to physically escape unharmed. Residents in adjacent apartments evacuate voluntarily, and at present, it appears that no personal injuries have occurred in connection with the fire.

The extent of the material damage is being documented.
