During the day, the police were contacted regarding a man who is said to have become ill during his stay in Lofsdalen, Härjedalen.

The on-duty commanding officer in the police region North made a decision to initiate a mountain rescue operation according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. Resources were called out to assist the man. An ambulance helicopter picked up the man and took him to medical care.

The operation was concluded.
