Police are currently handling a number of reports of damage to vehicles and theft of fuel cards at various locations in Sala. 
Kl 21:48 at least six vehicles in the area around Snickargatan were affected. Witnesses then tried to catch up with a person they suspected was the perpetrator, but were unsuccessful.
Kl 05:15 on Thursday morning, a company on Hyttvägen calls the police and reports that five of their vehicles have had their windows smashed. The police then conduct a crime scene investigation.
Kl 06:57 another company, on Norrängsgatan, reports that seven of their vehicles have been broken into and fuel cards stolen. The police cordon off the area for technical examination.

The police urge any other victims to report damage to vehicles or theft of fuel cards in Sala as soon as possible via 114 14 in order to get a comprehensive picture of what has happened and to enable successful investigation of the crimes.
