Two elderly people in Luleå have received calls from a person claiming to be from an insurance/financial company during the evening. The person claimed that a break-in is planned to be carried out at their home tonight.

In one of the calls, the caller claimed that the insurance company would make a home visit to document household items.

In the other call, the caller asked the elderly person if they had many valuable items at home.

The police are going to both people who received the calls and gather information. Two reports of attempted fraud will be prepared.
