In connection with a police patrol being on Gräsö and intended to apprehend a man who has been detained in absentia due to a previous crime, he threatens the patrol with a knife.

After this, the man locks himself into a residence.

A preliminary investigation into threats against a public official is initiated, and the patrol awaits additional police resources at the scene.

With the help of, among other things, negotiators and regional rapid response units, the man is later apprehended.

No one is injured in connection with the incident.
