Police have worked on a case in the Lambohov area due to reports of a person seen carrying an object of a longer type.
A number of police resources were called out to the area, according to routine when similar alarms come in. 

The information is carefully checked and it concerns young people who have been engaging in so-called cosplay, that is, dressing up as characters in fiction. 

There is no danger to the public and there is no crime involved. 

It is very good that the public is aware of deviant behavior or other reactions. One acts completely correctly by calling the police in such cases. It is important that the police are able to verify the information that comes in. 

Regarding carrying any type of weapon-like object, regardless of what these are, in a public place, this is highly inappropriate and nothing one should engage in, regardless of whether it is masked or other disguise.
