A number of schools within Stockholm's municipality have received threats via email. The police's assessment is that the threats presented are unfounded.

However, even unfounded threats can constitute a crime and the incident will therefore be investigated.

The police have not closed or evacuated any schools, but some individual schools have taken their own decision to suspend teaching for the day.
