The police have handled a 70 cases in Östergötland county between 22 and 07.

At 00 o'clock, a driver is stopped and checked on Söderköpingsvägen in Hageby. The driver, a man in his 35s, is suspected of gross unauthorized driving as he drives a car despite his driving license having been revoked by the Transport Agency earlier. In the vehicle, a weapon-like object is found and the man is therefore also suspected of weapons crime.

At 03.40, the police are alerted to Åby in Norrköping where several callers have seen two people entering gardens and pulling on car doors. The police have searched the area without finding the two people. One of the affected cars is open, but it is unclear if anything has been stolen. A report of theft from a vehicle is made to be able to investigate the incident further.
