The man needs help getting to healthcare. On-duty officers call out mountain rescuers with the support of the LSO (Act on Protection against Accidents).

A Norwegian ambulance helicopter and mountain rescuers from Sweden arrive at the scene. The mountain rescuers assist ambulance personnel and document the scene. The man is taken by helicopter to healthcare in Norway. The operation is concluded.

The police will investigate what may have caused the accident.
