Police head to a residence in the countryside in Norrtälje municipality to conduct a control after concerns have been raised about the condition of the people living at the location.

In the residence, a deceased adult woman is found. There is also an adult man present. The circumstances surrounding the death are unclear and the police therefore arrest the man and launch an investigation into murder to determine if a crime has been committed.

Family members have been informed of the death and the residence has been sealed off for technical examination.
