At 18.10 on Monday evening, a 15-year-old girl let her dog run loose on Mjölorpsvägen/Nytorpsvägen in Ljungsbro. She was then stopped by a man who came in a car. The man took hold of her and held her fast. She struggled to get free without success.

The man let go of her first when a witness with a dog appeared on the scene and verbally attacked the perpetrator with shouts. The perpetrator then left the scene in a car.

The police are now looking for the witness or other people who may have made observations in the case.

The young woman did not need ambulance care. The incident is being investigated as an attempted kidnapping.
