Police patrols were ordered to an address in Hallsberg on Monday evening due to a lifeless person. 
A lifeless woman was found at the scene and the unclear circumstances and following the initial information gathered, an investigation was initiated regarding murder. 
A man in his mid-20s was detained by police patrols as a suspect for murder.

The suspected crime scene was cordoned off and technicians have conducted an initial crime scene investigation. The suspected man is being held in custody by the prosecutor overnight.
Directives and which further investigative measures are to be carried out will be decided by the prosecutor.
Next of kin have been informed.
