During the night, the police are contacted about a person who appears to have received what seems to be counterfeit bills in connection with a car deal in Jönköping. This was discovered when the deal was made, and they tried to deposit the money into a bank account. Upon a closer look at the bills, the seller began to suspect something was wrong, as the bills felt and looked fake.

The buyer, a man in his 45s, is now suspected of fraud and the use of counterfeit bills.

The police want to take the opportunity to remind people to be cautious when handling cash - in order to prevent being deceived.

- Watermark, security thread and other security details
- That the bill does not deviate in color or structure
