The police receive a call from a caller who claims to have heard loud bangs from a parking garage in the central parts of Örnsköldsvik. The caller believes they saw one of the people holding a weapon-like object in their hand.

Several patrols are sent to the location and upon searching the parking garage, a person is found who is checked and later released.

The location is cordoned off for the time being. An investigation into a serious firearms offense is initiated, at present there are no suspects.
