In connection with the police being deployed to a restaurant in central Gävle after a woman was taken into custody by a security guard in accordance with the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons (LOB) a completely unrelated brawl broke out.

One of the people involved in the brawl was, like the woman, taken into custody in accordance with LOB. He was also suspected of assault on a public official and violent resistance as he had struck a security guard.
