On-duty commanding officers make decisions about mountain rescue according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents, to assist a woman who has been injured in connection with cross-country skiing.

Mountain rescuers and a helicopter are called out. The woman is transported by helicopter from the scene and later handed over to a road-based ambulance for further transport to medical care.

The rescue operation is concluded.
