Karlstad, 00.44. Drunk driving.
A patrol stops a vehicle for control in the western parts of Karlstad. In connection with this, the driver, a man in his 30s, is suspected of drunk driving and minor drug offenses for personal use. He is taken for testing and the result will show whether the suspicion will remain.

Karlstad, 03.57.
Police receive a call about a man who is screaming and throwing things out onto the street in Norrstrand. When the police arrive at the scene, they find a person who is taken into custody according to the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons (Lob). The man, who is in his 40s, is suspected of drug offenses in possession in connection with this.

In addition to this, the police have handled several cases involving mental health, made person and vehicle checks without further action. No serious crimes have come to the police's knowledge during the night.
