The police are alerted about a ongoing knife fight at a salon in central Norrtälje. When the patrols arrive at the scene, the fight has subsided but the two men who fought with each other have both received minor injuries that are suspected to have been caused by a knife.

Both men are apprehended but are allowed to pass by the hospital for rebandaging before they are placed under arrest.

The background to the fight is currently unknown and the men's versions of what happened diverge.

One man (in his 30s) is suspected of attempted murder and the other (in his 40s) is suspected of attempted gross assault.
