Business burglary in Habo
At midnight, police were alerted to a business burglary at an address in Habo outside Jönköping. Police arrived to investigate the scene. It appears initially that the thieves got away with electronics, but some traces have been secured in the premises. A report has been filed regarding theft through burglary. The crime scene has been cordoned off pending technical examination. Police were later alerted to another business premises in the area regarding suspected burglary or attempted burglary. A report has also been filed regarding theft through burglary, but it is currently unknown if anything was stolen.
A person arrested after burglary
At 04:50, a report was received about an ongoing burglary at a workshop in Gnosjö. This was after an unauthorized person got stuck on a camera at the building. Police responded to search for the person and soon became interested in checking a vehicle driving on a nearby highway. The pursuit of the car was followed, and it was also decided to use a spike strip to stop the car. In Gislaved, the police took control of a person who was believed to have been driving the vehicle. The man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of theft, reckless driving, and failing to stop for a police officer. The stolen goods that were found are believed to have been various motocross equipment and accessories.
Police have also handled cases related to fights and made various routine checks on their own initiative or after receiving reports from the public.
