The police want to urge owners of Dodge RAM vehicles in Södermanland to be extra vigilant. One should review how one parks their car and how the keys are stored.

This is because the police have identified several foreign perpetrators who are currently in Sweden and who have previously been active in thefts of these vehicles.

- Park your car in a well-lit area or in a garage.

- There are various types of alarms and surveillance cameras, or lamps with motion sensors that can be effective in making it harder for thieves.

- Store the keys in a safe manner.

- If you observe suspicious individuals or see vehicles that do not fit in with the surroundings or behave suspiciously, you should alert the police. In the event of ongoing crime, call 112.
