Dogs have been caught and the police are heading to the location. Even the dog owner is going there to pick up the dogs.

The police will investigate whether a crime has been committed. A report is being prepared regarding an offense against the Reindeer Herding Act.

When reindeer are located within a grazing area where reindeer herding is permitted, a dog in the vicinity that is not used in reindeer herding should be kept on a leash or confined, unless the county administrative board allows otherwise. The same applies when reindeer are being relocated, if the dog's owner has been notified in advance of the relocation time, according to the Reindeer Herding Act 93 §.
