Police regional command center has handled over 100 cases related to Östergötland County during the night between 22:00 and 07:00.

Road accident, Motala: At 00:00, SOS was alerted about a road accident on Highway 50 near Västra Stenby in Motala municipality. According to initial reports, a car had swerved to avoid an animal and then collided with the guardrail. On the scene, between 50 and 100 meters of guardrail is damaged. No one has been seriously injured in the accident, and the driver can arrange for a tow truck to his car. The police are filing a report on a traffic accident without suspicion of a crime. By 01:00, traffic can resume as usual at the scene.

Abuse of official documents, Norrköping: At 01:00, the police were alerted to a bar in Norrköping. On the scene, a security guard had discovered a person under 18 using false identification to enter the bar. The police handed over the minor person to their guardian and filed a report on the abuse of official documents.

Quarrel/LOA, Linköping:  At 23:00, the police were alerted to Tannefors in Linköping due to a ongoing quarrel involving several people. The police arrived at the scene and the situation calmed down. The group had come from a party and then a quarrel had broken out outside. No one was injured. One person, a man in his 18th year, was taken to the police station according to the LOA (Law on Intoxicated Persons).   

The police have, in addition to this, made various routine checks on their own initiative or after receiving calls from the public.
