The police are receiving reports of a shooting incident in the west of Örebro. It is stated that several shots were heard from the area and a person has been affected. 

The condition of the injured person is unclear.

The police are on the scene to secure the crime scene and work to locate any perpetrators and interview witnesses to get a picture of what happened.

Residents in the area are advised to stay indoors and respect the police's work and any cordons.

Update:

The person affected, a man in his 20s, has died from the violence he was subjected to. Relatives have been informed.

The investigation, which is being conducted, is for murder and gross firearm offense and is led by the police authority. No one is being detained.

Based on the information that has been analyzed so far, there is nothing at this time that suggests a gang/network connection.

The police are conducting the investigation with full force, several investigative measures have been carried out overnight and are continuing. The technical examination is complete and the cordons have been lifted. Several interviews have been conducted, but the police are still seeking information that can lead the investigation forward.
