13.07 a car is noticed driving at high speed south of Strängnäs, which a police car orders to stop. Instead of stopping, the driver chooses to drive at high speed towards Eskilstuna.

The police follows the car and the car is stopped at Valhalla in Eskilstuna. The stop is made by the police blocking the car. The suspected driver, as well as two police officers, are checked by an ambulance. 

The stop causes traffic to be heavily affected in a westerly direction. 

13.50: Traffic is directed from Årbyrondellen via the center and a wrecker has been ordered to tow the vehicles affected.
