Police were called to a property in central Hagfors where a man had just smashed some or several windows, after which he left the scene.

About an hour later, a police patrol found the man inside a grocery store, suspected of having stolen goods.

During the security check, it turned out that the man was carrying a knife and a small amount of suspected narcotics. Additionally, the man had a bicycle that is suspected of being stolen. The patrol took the man into custody for public intoxication as he was severely impaired by drugs.

In summary, the man is now suspected of attempted theft through burglary, gross violation of the knife law, shoplifting, and minor drug offenses related to personal use and possession.

After the test, the man was allowed to sleep off the intoxication in a police cell.
