A person in their 95-year-old age has been called by someone who falsely claimed to be a close relative.
The scammer says they need money and retrieves card and card information via an intermediary and then withdraws money from the victim's account.
The police go to the scene to talk to the victim and the relative who is present.
A report of fraud will be written.
The police urge everyone to talk to elderly relatives and friends about the risk of being scammed by fraudsters.
