Fraudsters targeting mainly older people continue. Talk to your friends and relatives about the risk of being deceived.

A woman has today in the morning been contacted by a person who has swindled her of a larger sum of money. The methods used by the fraudsters vary and change constantly, but the foundation is never to give out bank cards, bank codes, or Swish to an unknown person's request - be very skeptical!

A wave of fraud is currently underway where fraudsters make home visits to steal gold and valuable items. The fraudsters contact elderly people by phone and pose as being from a government agency, a company, a bank, or an association.

The police would like to remind everyone who has elderly relatives or friends to talk about fraud and the police's advice on how to protect oneself.
