A witness observed a van that drove into a building on Sommargatan. The driver left the scene and the witness followed and could provide a route description to the police. A police patrol stopped the relevant van on Inre Ringvägen in Malmö. The driver, a man in his 20s, was reported for unauthorized departure from the accident site.

At the inspection, there are damages to the building and the man's van.
