A deceased person has been found at Oset

The area will be cordoned off and the public is urged not to seek the area, but to give and leave a free path to rescue resources and police personnel.

We appeal to people to climb down from birdwatching towers and other buildings so that the staff can work undisturbed.

Update at 18:19:

The police were alerted in the afternoon, together with the rescue service, to Oset in Skebäck due to the public finding a deceased person in the water. At the check, it turned out to be the 60-year-old woman who had been sought by the police and other organizations since the weekend when she was last seen in central Örebro. Relatives have been informed of the death. There is no suspicion of a crime.

The cordons are now lifted in the area.
