Loud noise came shortly after 2 am about an ongoing assault in a residential building in Rimbo. The perpetrator and the victim know each other. The perpetrator delivered blows and kicks to the body and head of the victim and is also said to have used various instruments. The perpetrator then left the scene in a vehicle.

The victim, who was taken to the hospital, is not critically injured. Police were able to apprehend the perpetrator in a car on Sunday morning. An investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
