March 12 09.31, Assault, Severe, Luleå

Just before 21:00 on Wednesday evening, March 11, the police were contacted regarding a man being subjected to an assault. The man was taken to medical care by ambulance, there is no further information about the extent of the injuries.

Later in the evening, the police were able to apprehend a man and a woman, aged 40 and 30 respectively. They are suspected of the crime, which at present is classified as aggravated assault. After questioning, they have been detained by the prosecutor. The crime is alleged to have taken place indoors in a residence.

Investigative work is ongoing, including further questioning and crime scene investigation to be carried out.

The case is led by a prosecutor.
