Two people in the car get out on their own initiative. The driver of the car is driven to the hospital for care. Both were awake and able to speak. 
When the accident occurred, there was a traffic jam due to road work at the location and the driver of the car discovered the almost stationary truck too late. The truck driver escaped without injury. No suspicion of a crime.
