A man in his 80s has received calls from a person who claimed that someone had tried to withdraw money from the man's account. Thereafter, people have come to the man's home and tricked him into handing over valuable items of unknown value. The police have been present at the complainant's residence for information gathering and reporting. The events are being investigated as fraud, elder abuse. No suspect has been identified at this time.
