Police, rescue service, and ambulance were alerted due to a traffic accident on Highway 23 between Åseda and Virserum. According to initial reports, a passenger car collided with a tree while the driver swerved to avoid an animal.

There are currently no reports of any more serious personal injuries in connection with the accident.
