At 04:00, a patrol observes a car parking next to the police car, whereupon the driver runs from the car and the scene. The patrol can catch up to the driver, who is checked. The driver, a man in his mid-20s, is now suspected of illegal driving.

At 01:40, the police are alerted to a suspected ongoing break-in attempt in a car in Skogsängen, Eskilstuna. A person is seen at the trunk of a car with some kind of tool, but runs from the scene when the police approach. Several patrols search the area and check a number of people, without finding anything unusual. No signs of damage are visible on the identified car. No report is filed.
