Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.04 Drunk driving, Östersund:
Vid stopp and control of a vehicle in central Östersund a suspicion arises that the driver, a woman, is under the influence of narcotics and she is to follow for blood sampling. A report regarding drug driving and minor narcotics offense (personal use) is drawn up and the woman's driver's license is confiscated.

23.58 Traffic control, Östersund:
All those who are checked at a traffic control on county road 609, Frösö, are without remark.

00.24 Violence/threats against public official, Åre:
Police patrol is ordered to Duved where a man is alleged to have been violent and threatening towards a bus driver. The man is found and arrested. A report regarding violence and threats against public official is drawn up. After interrogation, the prosecutor has made a decision that the man, who is in his 20s, will be detained.

05.59 Traffic control, Strömsund:
Sixteen drivers on county road 342, Strömsund, are checked and are sober.

Other:
Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
