The police's regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 70 cases related to Östergötland County.

22:19 – Suspected animal cruelty, Norrköping 
The police are contacted by the public who claim to have seen several people standing and kicking a dog at a door to an apartment building in Ektorp. They are said to have noticed this after they first heard the dog screaming. The people are said to have picked up the dog and left after that. The police go there and initiate conversations with possible witnesses. There are currently no identified individuals who can be considered suspects. An investigation into animal cruelty is initiated. 

In addition, the police have handled alarms about fights and loud bangs. They have also made a number of routine checks on their own initiative or after alarms from the public.
