Police were alerted to the hospital due to a 15-year-old boy being hit by a car earlier in the evening. The incident is said to have occurred near Gränsö Castle.

The boy was then taken to the hospital by his guardians.

A police patrol has been on the scene to conduct an interview with the affected person.

A report of a hit-and-run from the traffic accident scene is being prepared to investigate the circumstances.
