A man in his 30s is found on the scene with stick injuries in an arm. He is taken to hospital by ambulance, awake and able to speak.

After initial information gathering, a man, also in his 30s, can be arrested in another part of Gothenburg, initially suspected of aggravated assault. The men are supposed to be acquainted with each other.

Police remain at the crime scene for initial investigative measures, such as securing evidence and door-to-door questioning in the area.
