Police headquarters has handled a score of cases in Södermanland County during the night. The police have handled cases such as wildlife accidents and traffic controls, as well as conducted controls on their own initiative or following reports from the public.

Attempted Murder, Eskilstuna
00.15, the police are alerted to a residence in Fröslunda, Eskilstuna, due to a disturbance in an apartment. Two men, aged 25 and 40, are found in the apartment. The 40-year-old has stick injuries and an ambulance is called. The man is not believed to have suffered serious injuries. 
The 25-year-old is arrested, suspected of gross assault. Later, the charge is changed to attempted murder. The 40-year-old is suspected of assaulting the 25-year-old. 
The arrested person is now held by the prosecutor and the investigation is led by the prosecution authority. 

Illegal Driving, Katrineholm
At 23.30, a vehicle is stopped and checked on county road 643 in Katrineholm. The vehicle is a A-tractor, which is believed to have been driven at a higher speed than the approved speed limit of 30 km/h. The driver, a 15-year-old girl, is suspected of illegal driving. The A-tractor is seized by the police.
