At 4:30 pm, the police were alerted about a suspected break-in in a villa area in Värnamo.

The homeowner had been at work and came home, and then saw that it had been disturbed in the residence and that there was damage to a window. The stolen goods are supposed to be jewelry and valuable items, worth over a hundred thousand kronor.

The police have been on the scene and conducted a crime scene investigation, that is, searched for clues that can lead to a perpetrator. The police have also knocked on doors in the area to find out if neighbors have seen anything unusual, such as people or cars that do not usually visit the area.

At present, there is no suspected perpetrator. The crime classification is theft through break-in.
