Somal inkom initially about a man being aggressive and screaming at people in Vetterstorp. Shortly thereafter, further calls came in about a car being stolen from the location, and the man who took it driving away. According to reports from the scene, the man almost backed into a person on the scene, and the police were dispatched.

About an hour after the calls came in from Vetterstorp, the police were alerted that a man had driven into a ditch on Highway 66, near Seglingsberg. The car the man was driving was the same one that had been stolen.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and attempted grievous bodily harm. Additional charges may be added.
