According to initial reports, the driver is a woman. The extent of the damage is still unclear but she is said to be awake and able to speak.

Emergency services, ambulance, helicopter ambulance and police have been ordered to the scene.

UPDATE 11:30 The driver will be taken to Central Hospital in Karlstad by ambulance. She is awake and able to speak but the extent of the damage otherwise is unclear.

The road is, with limited speed, open to traffic in both directions.
