The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a 110 cases related to Östergötland county.

01:56 The police were alerted to S:t Persgatan in Linköping due to an assault outdoors. When the police arrived at the scene, the victim, a man in his 40s, was found to have been beaten. Several suspected individuals ran from the scene but by 02:02 the police had control of three individuals. All three men in their 20s were arrested for aggravated assault. The victim was taken to the hospital for examination of the injuries.

03:58 SOS alarm about a fire in a multi-family house on Stensgatan in Norrköping. The fire department has determined that it was a case of a dry fire.

04:38 SOS alarm about a fire in a shed/storage on Torsten Fogelqvists gata in Norrköping. The police were on the scene and it turned out to be a battery that caused the incident. A report of a fire without suspicion of a crime will be written.

Aside from this, the police have had cases of drunk driving, traffic offenses, wildlife accidents, intoxication, as well as various checks on their own initiative or after an alarm from the public that did not lead to anything serious.
