In connection with a patrol being in the central parts of Karlstad, they meet a moped driver who takes aim at one of the police officers so that this one has to jump out of the way. The cross-country skier then crashes and is driven to the hospital by the patrol as he complains of pain in the upper body. The driver, a 15-year-old boy, is now suspected of minor theft, attempt at serious violence against a public official, gross negligence in traffic, and unauthorized driving as he lacked the authority to operate the vehicle. The moped has been seized.
