A man has been apprehended after an explosion on Wednesday evening.
The police received a call at 7 pm on Wednesday evening due to a high explosion/detonation sound heard in a forest area and a person leaving the scene shortly thereafter. Patrols were ordered out and identified a 45-year-old man who was arrested suspected of violating the LBE, the law on hazardous and explosive goods. A crime scene investigation has been carried out, items taken into custody, and photographic documentation and other investigative measures have been taken. No person was injured in connection with the incident.
After a decision from the prosecutor, the man is now being held in custody.
