The police receive a large number of calls from drivers on E4 who report that a car is driving in the wrong direction near Uppsala.

The car is supposed to be driven in the direction of Gävle in the southbound lane.

The police want to warn drivers on E4.

According to a complainant, the car is now said to have stopped in the shoulder a few hundred meters before the exit at Uppsala norra near Gränby centre.

The police are on their way to the car.

Police patrols are now at the relevant vehicle. Drivers on E4 are still urged to reduce their speed and exercise caution.
