Under Sunday morning the police's regional command center east received calls about a passenger car that was driven carelessly on E22 outside Söderköping. The vehicle is said to have been speeding and driven recklessly, and was also close to hitting a person who was walking on foot. The driver was also, according to the report, close to colliding with other vehicles during the journey. 

The driver, a woman in her mid-20s, is suspected of drunk driving, minor narcotics, reckless driving in traffic, and fleeing the scene of a traffic accident as she is said to have crashed the vehicle earlier in the day and left the scene.
