Karlstad

22.18: The police are called to Kvarnberget due to a man seen hitting a woman. A 35-year-old man is suspected of assaulting a 45-year-old woman. The man is taken into custody under the law on the detention of intoxicated persons.

23.57: In connection with a person in their upper teens being taken into custody under the law on the detention of intoxicated persons, a report is also made of a minor narcotics offense.

Kil

03.30: The police are called to an address in Kils municipality and a 60-year-old man is arrested on suspicion of hitting a 50-year-old man. The victim was driven to hospital by relatives. The suspected man is then detained until morning.

Eda

23.59: Just before midnight, a vehicle is stopped for inspection in Åmotfors and the driver, a 45-year-old man, is found to be without a driver's license. The man is suspected of unauthorized driving as well as driving under the influence and is to follow for blood sampling. An analysis of this will show if he had anything illegal in his body.

There have been a large number of cases for the patrols to handle during the night. They have, among other things, carried out several person and vehicle checks as well as drawn up a report on an underage driver who drove a moped without a license and had talks with guardians about another underage driver and how he drove his vehicle.
