Good morning, during the night leading up to Midsummer Eve, the regional police headquarters east has handled a number of cases related to Östergötland County. 

23:29, Fraud/Senior Citizen Crime, Mjölby
A couple in Mjölby municipality has been targeted by fraudsters on Thursday evening. They were called by someone who claimed to be from a company and were asked to call a certain number and transfer and Swish more than 100,000 kronor. The incident is classified as fraud and no one has yet been arrested. 

There are several different types of fraud currently occurring. Sometimes SMS is sent out where companies claim that certain services or items have been purchased, and that a number should be called if there was an error in the order. There are also cases where the scammer poses as a relative or friend of the victim and that a new number has been exchanged and that a Swish is desired. 
Police want to urge extreme caution when it comes to calls or SMS from unknown persons. Never call the number that is given and never hand over valuable items or transfer money to a person you do not know. If an unknown person contacts you - hang up the phone. 

02:10, Sexual Harassment, Linköping
A report of sexual harassment has been filed after a person was observed masturbating in a public place in Skäggetorp. The person is also believed to have deliberately drawn attention to themselves during the time.
Police have been on the scene and checked some people, but no one is currently suspected. 

03:18, Fire, Linköping
Several parked cars burned during the night in the Johannelund area. The fire initially spread to nearby trees, but was quickly extinguished. A report of vandalism by fire has been filed as the fire is believed to have been set intentionally. No person is suspected.
